Inspection this morning on SG! Another lovely day in Åre and I took the gold in SG as well!! Nice to win again it’s not so often these days!
Im in Åre again and it’s nice as always during the weekend I was taking part of Carlsberg Hive Five, an event with pro’s competing with and against amateurs always ending the day with an after ski on Fjällgården! It’s relaxed and a lot of fun to be a part of this kind of events and since I won the competition it glads me even more off course
Pro’s attending were, Maria Pietilä Holmner, Therese Borsse’n Hans Olsson, Jon Olsson, Andre Myhrer, Markus Larsson, Kaj Zachrisson, Sverre Liljeqvist, Jens Byggmark and some others as well! The weather was soso snowing almost all the time so the Skistar and Carlsberg people who host the event did a great job.

Now nationals starts in here, cancelled today due to all the snow that’s been dumping the last week. Talk to you soon!
Unfortunately my last World Cup race this season got cancelled this thursday due to heavy rainfall.. Boring that I couldn´t have another chance to end the season in a good way, but the weather once again I can not chance so just to accept.
I came home this friday and since then I´ve been packing up, washing, met friends, doing some shopping with my mum, so nice just to walk in the city again and get everything under control in the appartement like pappers and stuff!
My plant covered in snow again during friday but now it´s more spring again!

Time for this seasons last World Cup race. SG tomorrow here in Lenzerheide, the season pass quick as normal and then it´s time to start the long preperation for next season again.. I feel good for tomorrow and I want to have a fast end on the season. Starting with bib 23!
Then it´s time to start the travelling back home, first I have to get controll over all my stuff. I got my new boots todays, 2 pairs so now it´s 5 to carry home. Talk to you in Sweden next time! Time for bed

to a uge calf today here on the farm in Hinterreit were we stay. It´s pretty warm so when we waited for the salt we went in the stable were thay have the cows. Several of the cows is going to give birth soon and one started while we were there, exciting!
Down you can see how it started and how the calf looks like. The farmer Peter said it was a though one to get out cause it was so big.
This is pretty new things for a city girl like me, but really interesting
I trained slalom today, felt good to do a whole session, that was a while ago. It was fun and not to bad skiing!

Giant slalom yesterday didn´t really turn out the way I wanted.. First run was without a rhytm and flow, I didn´t get the skies going so well. I had some misstakes and then you have to restart again, In the step I got stuck in a gate but manage to have the 5th time down the bottom flat anyway. I was 26th after first run.
I had a great opportunity to to better in second cause I had a smoother course but I got stuck in the snow/bump and my skies went in two different directions, I was so pissed and dissapointed that I couldn´t show especially to my self that I can do better than the first run…I needed that! But I´m also lucky that I didn´t injure my self after I had watched it on video. Sara Hector did personal best with a 16th place, that was really fun and Maria PH did season best in GS with a 15th place! To bad the GS season is over for this time in the world cup but I will come back stronger next year
Today we continue to Hinterreit for some training before the WC finals in Lenzerheide on the way we will make a pitstop in Linz by my serviceman and his family to have dinner, that will be nice!

It was a long way driving to Czech republik from Hinterreit, 700km but we were pretty lucky with the traffic only trafficjam on one spot on the way. Yesterdays training was a bit thougher than the day before but I found some rythm in the end.
Today suppost to be free skiing o the hill but we woke up to a heavy snowfall, normal tec luck this season.. But now it´s been clearing up so I hope they will get the snow away from the slope and then we will have a good race! I hope to ski clean and aggresive tomorrow, it can be this seasons last GS if I don´t do a great race in the real top then I qualify for the finals!!

Yesterday was a really easy day, exactly what I needed. After lunch we went to Zell am see to take a coffe and cake in the sun. Such a cute town and just by the lake, I can imagine why people like it there. I think it´s a lot of Swedes going there for skiing.
Today we had really good GS training in Hinterreit, I still have the tajming and feeling in, but I have to fresch up the body and brain a bit so it was good that we could get a lot of runs in today!
I got really amazed yesterday what you tube can do for you if you get the right person to watch your video. I saw a cute canadian girl called Maria Aragon playing keyboard and singing Lady Gagas “Born this way”. Lady Gaga had watched a day when she was down and this little girl have got so much attention in radio stations and tv in north america and Lady Gaga even called her and said she could sing with her in Toronto on her consert, pretty big! Today over 20 million people have watched this video. So the world is full of oppertunitie and it´s so much easier today to make your self heard with all the media like youtube, facebook, twitter and bloging.

Yesterday wasn´t really what I hoped for.. I pushed from the beginning but were a bit heavy after the gate in some turns and that killes the speed when it´s so flat. I had 9th and 13th split on the upper part but the 41st in the last part, take took way to much time. I ended up 22nd. At least I had the fastest speed! That was the joy for the day. It´s been a though weekend and I´m really disapointed so today I will have a day off and think about other stuff than skiing and rest my body and get rid of my cold. I´m hanging in, only two more weeks of the world cup and I will take care of every day and every race that´s left.
This will be me for a while today, surfing on swedish websites & reading a book
I´ve got a humidifier from Dominiq Gisin a suisse racer, it´s travel size so I can always have it with me. I´m often dry in the nose so it´s perfect for me, thanks Dominiq!

Today was a happy day for Sweden and our team caus Anja won todays DH in Tarvisio!!
That was really fun and I´m glad for her but my day was really bad.. So slow, its not fun to be back there it really sucks..
But I´m looking forward for tomorrows SG race, starting with nr 10, time to kick some as!
