Summer time in Saas Fee

Maria is back on snow and with the team. Really nice having her back with us!
I´m impressed the way she attacks already on the skies and in the gym. I know how it´s like getting back from that kind of injury and I can see that she has done a fantastic job during the rehabilitaion, I wish her all luck for this season!

Towe (physio) to the left is back with us for this camp, nice having her around again and Oscar 3rd from the left is with us as a coach, giving Maria an extra support until October. Good people spreading positive energy!

We had 4 super days in a row now with sun and hard snow in the morning. Skiing is developing each day and extra fun yesterday, first time in the GS gates this camp. Feel stable but off course a lot to learn and work with especially timing on the new GS skies.
In the afternoon before dryland I try to catch some sun and tan since that was a rare thing this summer…

On Snow – season started!

So now the season is on for real, I´m in Saas Fee skiing again.
It feels fun to be back on snow and it didn´t feel like it was 3 months ago since last time so thats always nice.
Good weather and snow for free skiing yesterday but today it was closed due to fog and it´s been raining and thunder all night and also sometimes during the day today.

This Friday we were in Audis wind tunnel in Ingolstadt were they test the cars. First we got a round tour so we could see how the cars are build and produced, really interesting to see.
After that we did tests in the tunnel, tried suites with different padding and I tried to optimise my tuck so I will ski faster in SG this winter 😉 it was interessting to do it and get a clearer picture how I want to ski in tuck position!

When it was blowing 140 km/hour it was pretty though to get in the pools if I had let them out once.

My summer

Hello again!

Hope you all had a nice summer, full of whatever you like to do!
I feel fine, in good shape both mentally and physically. My summer was nice, but the weather in Sweden hasn´t been good. June in Stockholm was the rainiest month in over 100 years so that says a lot 😉 In July when Jonas had his vacation we went on a road trip as normal to Österlen, as far south as you can come on the east coast to visit Jonas parents. In Båstad during the Tennis – Skisar Swedish open I was there a couple of days with Skistar, we did some morning training, interviews and had some autograph signing, is was fun, so much people there and cool to see Tennis live so close!
My favourite spot outside Karlstad was our home for a week. It´s luxary to stay in a house when you normally don´t, it´s so much space, just to go out on the lawn and we grilled a lot. So much woods around so it´s good oxygen when you run!
After that week we felt that we needed some sun and real summer so booked a ticket to Nice and Anja was so kind so she let us stay in her appartement 🙂 We were relaxing on some beaches, eating good food and did some sightseeing along the french Riviera. I really liked it there. I did´n´t train so much those days, to get some more energy before it was time to go on snow.
