Countdown

Countdown has begun, 2 days left until race time. Looking forward to get out there again! Last 3 days has been good, perfect conditions with Colorado snow, hard, compact and grippy and then clear blue sky on top of that! I was able to push max with my back and that in combo with the conditions really makes we love this journey that I’m on!

LA
Me and Maria had a 3 day break tighter with some coaches and service in Los Angeles, great days with new environment and lots of fun stuff to enjoy and watch!

From Sölden to Colorado

Hello!
Sölden race ended up in a good way, feel like I passed the test with a 9th place in the GS premiere. I wasn´t skiing the way I can especially in the first run I was really static and were not always in the line. But it was relaxing to know I´m on the right way!
Below two pictures from Sölden.

After Sölden I was home for 10 days, nice to have time for friends, family and I did some physical tests aswell. Baking Cinnamonrolls 🙂 went really well and easy with my Kitchen Aid which I baked in for the first time!

Used this mini casseroles for pie baking, different and cute

Nice to spend some time with my ❤

Happy that I had time to meet these people

Tried out what they say is Stockholm’s best Burger place, “Flippin Burger” felt like I needed to warm up before leaving to US. Burger was good to less stuff on tough like tomatoes and salad but the Milkshake with strawberry cheesecake flavour was awesome!

Watched a Michel Jackson – the Immortal world tour with cirque de soleil. Cool show with some really good dance & music numbers

First training day in Vail.

I´ve been staying in Copper Mountain the last week with my Scandinavian team. Norwegian Lotte Smiseth Sejersted and the norwegian coaches me and Christian Thoma. We have a cooperation on the speed side also with the Canadian girls and it´s been working out in a really good way.

Most of the days been like this one!

I had 3 days of SG which was really necessary, now I´m on track there as well and we had some FIS races in SG. I skied to nice and round the first one, but it was such a sweet run, good conditions and sun so I enjoyed it. Second run I challenged a bit more and missed a gate in the end.

Copper Mountain

Finally gingerbread Latte!

United States of America

In Vail, colorado, USA. The trip over was good, perfect flying Stockholm- Frankfurt-Denver. We stay just across from the lift at Manor Lodge Vail in appartements and share with Kajsa, she´s in the King size bed and I took the Murphy bed also called pull down bed cause you pull it out of the wall. So I´m in the living room, nice to have your own space while your sleeping aspecially when you having a bit of jet leg and wakes up a couple times a night.

All the bags arrived 🙂 skies were send before with a cargo so no hassle at all just grab the bags and go..

We had dinner at Trapness familys home 2 days ago. Friends from our trainer Pierre, nice to see such a lovely huge home, thanks for a great dinner!

The pitch were we train, GS yesterday was good, nice to be back on this grippy snow and do some gates.

Finally a gingerbread latte on Starbucks, yummi!

Kajsa and Pavel were also enjoying coffe

Offcourse we had time for some shopping as well, we made a pit stop in Denver on the way up to Vail and I bought new running shoes, and some christmas gifts 🙂
We had a afternoon down in Silverthorn were it is outlets, found some good stuff there.
